Greg Queen, President/CEO of MECO and Water Works, Inc.
Greg Queen is the President & CEO of MECO and Water Works, Inc. Mr. Queen holds bachelor’s degrees in mechanical engineering and business administration from the University of Colorado Boulder and an MBA from the University of California, Irvine. Greg most recently joined MECO from JWC Environmental, where he served as the President. Before JWC, he worked at Brasstech as the Vice President of Operations. Earlier in his career, he held several leadership roles in Operations for Rosemount Analytical, Liquid, and Micro Motion, all of which are divisions of Emerson. His areas of expertise include operations management, engineering, strategic planning, business development, and business process improvement.
John Wammes, CPIP | MWS, Senior Business Advisor of Water Works, Inc.
John Wammes is the Senior Business Advisor of Water Works, Inc. and a certified Master Water Specialist (MWS) by the International Water Quality Association. He brings over 20 years experience in municipal and industrial water treatment and extensive experience in membrane purification processes.
John is actively engaged with the water purification industry. He is a speaker and teacher of high purity water system design, installation and maintenance for the Life Science industry. He holds a certification of a Pharmaceutical Industry Professional by International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineer (ISPE) and formerly served as President of ISPE San Diego Chapter.
Bill Essary, General Manager of Water Works, Inc. and Head of Client Services, MECO
Bill Essary, General Manager of Water Works, Inc. and Head of Client Services, MECO. Mr. Essary joined MECO in 2003 as a Project Manager and was promoted to Parts and Service Manager in 2009. In January 2023, Mr. Essary was promoted to Head of Client Services. In addition to being responsible for MECO’s legacy downstream services, Mr. Essary is responsible for the general management role of the newly acquired Water Works business in San Diego, California. Mr. Essary has been with MECO for 20 years overseeing the downstream support of clients, downstream business development of the firm including the supply of spare parts and service.
Prior to joining MECO, he spent 9 years in engineering, project management and procurement with Aquatech International, where he managed several domestic and international water treatment projects in various industries. Mr. Essary holds a BSc in industrial engineering from West Virginia University.
