Validated Purified Water System for Diabetes Medical Device Manufacturing Facility in San Diego, CA
/Water Works, Inc. (San Diego), CA announces completion of validated purified water system for a manufacturer of continuous glucose monitoring system.
The customer requested a new water purification system that duplicated existing one to support newly opened manufacturing line. To improve Process Analytical Technology (PAT), Water Works team built upon our popular ES1 system design, adding PLC based controls, HMI and online TOC monitoring.
THE RESULT
The new high-reliability system delivered nearly 1 log improvement in TOC performance at 30% reduction in footprint. The TOC performance exceeded manufacturing requirement for water quality, minimizing possibility of microbial contamination and thus strengthening customer's ability to ensure business continuity.
